FACERS President Duties
The FACERS President duties are outlined in the FACERS Constitution but also include the following:
June FAC Annual Meeting:
● Provide Agenda meeting and facilitate/lead discussions and topics.
● Present each speaker and bios to the general meeting.
● Coordinate Award Announcements and Awards.
● Coordinate purchase of Award Plaques
● Present Awards Urban Engineer, Rural Engineer, Team, etc. at Annual Meeting
● Coordinate with FAC for joint issues & FACERS Discussion
● Coordinate with the Past President for nomination submittals for new Officers and Directors
● Find a person (we prefer a county commissioner) to swear in new officers and directors each June annual meeting
November FAC Legislative Meeting:
● Provide Agenda meeting and facilitate/lead discussions and topics.
● Coordinate with FAC for joint issues & FACERS Discussion
Regular Board Meetings:
● Schedule Regular Board Meetings. Hold at least one between each semi annual General Membership meeting which occurs in June with FAC Annual meeting and November with FAC Legislative meeting.
● Provide Agenda for the meeting and facilitate/lead discussions and topics.
● Be an ambassador to FAC and other groups such as the FHWA, FDOT, FES
